Cotswold Water Park


Wiltshire's biggest centre for water-based activities apart from the canal is the Cotswold Water Park, a collection of 140 lakes in 40 different ownerships.

The lakes are the results of many years of gravel extraction. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, water skiing, snorkeling, diving or even pumping away on a single pedalo are all available. There is a bathing beach at keynes Country park and open water swimming is available at some but not all lakes.
